Chicksilog

For only one summer every 33 years, the legendary, enchanted, unmoored Chicksilog Island drifts into San Francisco Bay, and anchors itself just off the coast of Point Richmond. Chicksilogs, the devastating women of the island, are known for their fierce warrior strength and romantic beauty, their mild derangement, and lack of sound critical judgment. A link to text and other images about this piece are here on Wofflehouse.

While the Chicksilog poster was shown during the 2005 exhibition, the drawings below were not: they were part of the initial brainstorming drawing session that led to many of the murals that were painted on the gallery walls.

As with other pages in the gallery, please contact me (jkwofford at hotmail dot com) for a pdf of prices, or with questions about the work. Works with a strike-through line on the title are on hold. Sold works are marked as sold and then eventually removed from the gallery.
